We are expanding our professional contacts and social commitment. Contipso Ltd. applied for membership in BAPM. The Board of Directors of the Bulgarian Association for People Management reviewed the applications and voted unanimously for the acceptance of Contipso as a corporate member. On our part, we are going to work for the development of the professional guild and the promotion of e-learning of the most modern caliber in Bulgaria.
At the end of February we released an English version of Contipso. In addition to the public parts, the interface of the system is now readily available in English. This allows creators of online trainings to prepare rich multimedia and interactive online courses, both in Bulgarian and in English. It also significantly expands the circle of learners who are able to acquire new knowledge through Contipso Learning.
We started 2020 with a clear vision that we are part of a bigger whole and have our own corporate responsibility. In the beginning of the year we conducted a study to find out where we could contribute with the greatest impact on society. Several ideas are currently being analyzed and we will soon publish our decision on the topic that Contipso's team will commit to.
In response to the dynamic changes in the market in the field of distance e-learning services, the Contipso team has developed an additional sixth module of the learning ecosystem - Contipso Catalog. This new functionality enables authors and providers of online training to present their e-learning in a public catalog that is available worldwide. The integration of the catalog with the other elements of the Contipso Learning ecosystem is forthcoming. The launch of the module is planned for February 2020.
October 2019 was the month in which Contipso received registration as a trademark for the following services: education; training; entertainment, sport and cultural activities, scientific and technological services and related research and design services, industrial analysis and research, industrial design, quality control and authentication services, and design and development of computer software and hardware.
In August 2019, we completed the two-year project with the Ministry of Economy. All project activities were completed on time and accepted without comments. The project was proposed as a good practice. Congratulations to the entire diverse team of graphic designers, database architects, programmers, photographers, videographers, audiographers and administrators for the wonderful and excellent work. During the implementation of the project, new ideas were generated to expand the functionality of the learning ecosystem in Contipso, the implementation of which is forthcoming.
In July 2019, members of the Contipso team presented a report at the International Conference EDULEARN 2019 in Palma de Mallorca - Spain. The report on "A model for an innovative, multi-component, web-based platform for the development, use and dissemination of interactive e-learning and knowledge management." (A model for innovative, multi-component, web-based platform for development, exploitation and distribution of interactive e-learning content and knowledge management) presented the innovative model developed by Contipso. The presentation aroused great interest and additional inquiries from the representatives of the academic and business circles.
At the end of May 2019, we completed the tests of the fourth and fifth modules of the learning ecosystem of Contipso. We now have a fully functional prototype of the Contipso LMS e-learning content management platform and the web-based Contipso Author e-content creation tool. We continue to work on integrating the various elements of the system and developing new functionalities.
At the beginning of May 2019, we launched two more modules from the learning ecosystem of Contipso. Contipso Market aims to enable authors of digital content suitable for use in online training and presentations to provide their work by receiving a fair reward for their work. On the other hand, the authors of trainings and presentations can significantly increase their efficiency and effectiveness by purchasing the basic building blocks needed for their presentations. Moreover, if training creators have specific requirements for digital materials, they can publish requests to create unique digital resources.
Simultaneously in Contipso Market, we launched the "Portfolio" module. The third element of Contipso's system - "Contipso Portfolio" aims to provide a platform in which people involved in the process of designing, building and conducting e-learning and distance learning can demonstrate their experience. Sample portfolios of designers, teachers, audiographers, experts, videographers and photographers are presented in the Portfolio module. It is planned to expand the types of portfolios. There is already integration between the Market and Portfolio modules in the Contipso system. Professionals who have a portfolio and at the same time have provided digital products for sale have the opportunity to direct their potential customers from their portfolio directly to the digital resources that are offered for sale in the Contipso store.
The professionalism of the Contipso team was noticed and training was assigned to the European Union program "Erasmus+" in the period 2017 - 2019. The team prepared the training in face-to-face and online format. Five six-day trainings were held in Barcelona and Madrid - Spain, Tallinn - Estonia, Istanbul - Turkey and in Sofia - Bulgaria. The target group was school principals, information and communication technology teachers and leading trainers from Macedonia, Bulgaria, Spain, Portugal and Italy. The training raised great interest and was really successful. Tours were made to a number of colleges, universities and innovation centers in the countries visited. Experience and good practices were exchanged, which contributed to all parties involved in the process..
Members of the Contipso team participated in the fifteenth international conference E-ACTIVITIES held in November 2018. in Rome, Italy. A report on "Criteria and Methodology for the Evaluation of e-Learning Management Systems Based on the Specific Needs of the Organization" was presented.
Contipso Magazine took part in the 30th international Computer Space Forum. The team's efforts were rewarded. Contipso Magazine won the Audience Award in the Web Design: Information and Media category. The team of experts also evaluated the qualities of the media and awarded second prize in the Blog category. The good evaluation of the efforts and the received awards stimulate the team to continue the development of the other modules of the training ecosystem of Contipso.
On May 25, 2018. we launched the first element of Contipso's learning ecosystem. The purpose of the online magazine is to inform about news, analyzes, tips and cases with good practices in the field of e-distance learning. The information is divided into several sections: "Portfolio", "E-learning", "Training design", "Creating training content", "Templates", "Training resources" and "News and interviews". Guest authors, journalists and experts were involved in the preparation of the articles. Leading figures in the field of knowledge provision were invited to share their experience and skills.
On July 31, 2017 Contipso Ltd. signed a contract № BG16RFOP002-1.002-0144-C01 with the Ministry of Economy for Creating an innovative three-component, multilingual, web-based hybrid platform for development, operation and distribution of interactive e-learning content and providing new services in the field of e-learning and knowledge management. The realization of the general goal will be realized through several project-specific goals, targeted in a few directions according to the needs of the target groups:
The total value of the project is BGN 420,871.42, of which BGN 321,966.67 is European and BGN 56,817.62 is national co-funding. The project will be completed within 23 months.
